Last winter I
thought I was too old for adventures, but I got itchy feet again. The truth is
that you will never be too old for anything, unless you lazy mind manages to
persuade you that you are. Therefore, it is always be only your mind that will
eventually determine what you can accomplish. This ultimate trip was not just a sponaneous
decision, but it had been planned carefully several months in advance. I had
to save up some money first to upgrade my bike and bike several indispansable
things such as reserve batteries for my laptop and cellphone. In this blog I am
going to share some of my travelling experiences that might be interesting or
inspiring to you.

When preparing to travel, lay out all your clothes and all your money. Then take half the clothes and twice the money. ~Susan Heller
Very true, indeed.
Retrospectively writing about my travel fever, I must add that I could
have left few things at home. I could easily do even with two T-shirt, not 4
and just 2 pairs of socks.
My preparation for
the trip was very funny. The most unnerved was my grandma who even personally
came to buy me what I needed for the trip and to see me off.I vividly remember
as we strode through the shop alleys and she higgedly-piggedly wanted to buy
something useful. When she saw that I do not want much stuff, she said that she
was going to buy something for herself and in the end she wanted to give it all
to me :) Not a third of her precious supplies I could take with me, but I am
still very thankful that she was so thoughtful.
