I had about three hours to see as much as possbile in Montreal. It is said to be a great city, with a lot of nightlife, unique architecture and art – but I had no time :/ Unfortunately, the city did not greet me with sunny weather. it was pouring so much, that I had to give up walking after an hour. I visited several cathedrals and saw many beautiful buildings, but I could not take picture of them, because something happened to my cellphone. The lense on the camera was blurred from inside and I could not take any pictures at all. So I gave it up, went to a famous local restaurant where I had a special smoked meat which dates back to 1927 (hopefully only the receipt, not the meat itselft :P ) and went to the train station. So that s it - my short visit in Montreal was very hasty and I did not have a chance to enjoy it. But still, I have no reaason to complain. Weather during my whole journey was terrific and this was the first rainy day. Everyone scared me that if I decided to travel in November, I would not experience anything else but rain. I am so happy that they were wrong and they did not succeed in putting me off from my journey.
