Leaving Banff at 9 am, I was about to undertake a grueling 3-day bus tour. Well, it was not so bad as I expected, Greyhound buses are very convenient. After we left Rocky Mountains, it was nothing to look at from the window. Flat Manitoba plains stretch for hundreds miles. I got an impression that we were staying on the same place and do not move anywhere – the lookout was the same all the time. Yellow neverending fields became boring after several hours and I did not know what to do. My only redemption from total boreness was my smarphone. So I had a great opporutnity to brush up my English vocabulary that I collected since I came in Canada. And I had plenty of time to think about myself, about the life, the meaning of universe ….. I also listened to an audiobook. A year ago, I put on my cellphone Animal Farm with hope that I would listen to it one day. That day came on the bus – and I was so happy that I had something interesting for several hours. I read that book few years ago and I am still a fervent fan of Goerge Orwell – that guy was a genius. I do not understand how he could predict political ongoing, the dictature, comunism, the means of manipulation, coercion, brainswashing and keeping people in a lie, living their dammed life before it reallly happened. Was it just a coinsidence or could he make this alegorical assumption based on human nature? Even his animal characters perfectly match many types of people in our society. That is a brialliant masterpiece, indeed.
Days on bus went slowly on, we passed Manitoba and entered Ontario – the most popular province in Canada. The landspace also changed dramatically. I woke up to a land of forrests and lakes – excctly as many books describe Canada. Believe me or not, even watching trees passing along the road becomes boring after one day. Nevertheless I must admit that the whole ride passed away pretty qucikly. I had never spent so much time on bus before, I do not know how I could get through it so easily.
In order to save money, I took bigger packages of food, but I did not have particularly a big variety of food. So you can imagine that eating sausages can be good for breakfast, stil OK for lunch, but not tasty anymore for dinner. In this way I have gone off muffins, pancakes and Granola – and I will not be able to see that staff for a while.:P
My glimpse in the morning - what a beautiful landspace :P

I know that this picture likes "almost" like the previous one, but you would not believe that it was taken 5 hours later, when I saw an exciting crossroad :D

A big action is going on - a truck passing us - wow :)
