Helsinki (city)

After a good night sleep we strode into the downtown of Helsinki. Today I also offered to take our backpacks, but now I do not find it so annoying as yesterday. Helsinki is a relatively small city like Bratislava. The harbour is near to the downtown and the bus station as well, so we do not have to walk as long as yesterday. I do not know what to write about Helsinki. I recommend seeing the red church, as I called it. We had luck when we were there – we came when they were having a mass. I have never seen an orthodox mass; therefore, it was for me a unique experience.
Only few hundred meter there is another church, which I called the white church. With a nice square with the statue of Alexander II, It must be one of the greatest attraction in the city, because there are far too many tourist, goggling and taking pictures of the area. I realized that Helsinki and its historical buildings have one thing in common: there is a wide triangle on every bigger building. The only one in Bratislava is in the front of the presidential Palace, so it looks like, they have our presidential palace almost everywhere :P
I like that luggage storage was quite cheap – for 24h it costs only 2€. Finland s said to be cheaper than Sweden, but it is expensive for me anyway.
