Our Epic Journey Back Home II. (journey)

In Stockholm I was in a terribly bad mood again. I was informed that I had to bring my passport to the police, because the scammers might misuse it for making frauds. Great, why not, there is nothing easier as going to the police station in the morning and taking a plane to Edinburgh in the afternoon Moreover, outside was raining heavily and we could not walk with our backpacks to the train station. So we had to spend another 4 € for the subway tickets, yeah, why not.....
We still had two hours left and I wanted to take some pictures of the Royal Palace. However, Lila did not want to go with me, so I had to strode into the city by myself. I think it was better, cause without two backpacks I could walk considerably faster. Before I started my journey, my mother asked me to bring her some Swedisch bitter drops with an original recipe, and supposing it is called “Swedish”, they should have some. However, after visiting 4 pharmacies I got an impression that Swedish people have never heard of that. Probably, it is something like French cream cake or Vienna coffee – both specialities have never been known in these places; they only took on the names. Lol, how dumbfounded a lady with 20 year experience in pharmacy looked at me when I asked her about that  Never mind, I carried out my promise to have a look at that, although I could not buy them....
Later on, I had a funny experience in one hotel. I was looking for a bathroom, so I sneaked into one hotel, acting like a guest. I came to an elevator and when I got in, some business people joined me. I pushed a button, but nothing happened. Then, one lady looked at me suspiciously and asked whether I had my hotel ID card. Obviously, without that the elevator did not work. I replied that yeah, actually, I was just a guest visiting a friend of mine and I had not known about it. Then another man whispered in English that they should inform the security. I heard him and spluttered that it was not necessary, since I wanted to go to the ground floor anyway  Hehe, what a fail :P Whatever, at least, I tried...
After finishing my photo action, we took a speed train through the whole Sweden. It was terribly fast and lopsided; in some moments I felt as if a lake was going to spill on us (I did not realize that we were lopsided, not the lake). We saw some breathtaking scenery of Sweden nature: beautiful lakes, forest, rain clouds, cute small houses, etc. The only problem was that we could not take any pictures at all, since the train drove like the devil. Anyway, we passed the half of Sweden in less than 5 hours.
Changing our train in a small city near the borders, I had 1 extra hour to look around. You know, I am like possessed by travelling and if I know that there is a place I am just passing by and probably do not visit it in the future, I want to take as much pictures as possible. Therefore, I started a crazy run & shoot action, trying to capture every moment even in spite of darkness.
Our next train was very cosy. Actually, at first it did not look at it at all. We expected a luxurious night city express, so you can imagine how stunned we were when a small, old-fashioned train pulled in. Despite our first impression, I must say that it was very comfy. Even if it cost so much; that feeling that I am laying in bed again I would not change for anything else.
In the morning we arrived in Berlin. Astonished by the gigantic train station, we decided rather to stay there than to go anywhere outside. After a while I could not stay without fidgeting and I went for another run & shoot action. I saw Brandemburg Gate, the Parliament, the nearest vicinity and also several parks. In fact, I must say that in that one hour I visited more than in three days 4 years ago, when I visited Berlin with a friend of mine. She is still bitching that she did not see anything in Berlin, but she cannot catch on that it was her own fault, because she he was terribly lazy to do anything. And of course, also my fault, because due to my stupid good manners I stayed with her at home and did not go sightseeing by myself.
I was really happy when we got on our train from Berlin to Vienna. Those were our very last moments on train, successfully finishing our epic journey. As I wrote during my Canadian experience, when you travel somewhere, you are full of expectations, hopes and dreams, but when you are going home, it is only about how to get there as soon as possible. For this reason I find travelling home rather boring. Now, I am sitting on train somewhere in Germany, sipping Jack Daniels from a jam box (thanks Lila for thinking of me) and looking outside the window. I ought to drink a toast on our journey – it was mostly successful, we did not have any serious problems and in general I liked that. I am just sorry that I could not enjoy my travelling back home very well due to that stupid scam I fell for. 800€ are gone and that is a bitter pill to swallow. I, as a very austere person trying to save on every comfort and living on the most necessary basic to save few €, lost so much money because of nothing. It screwed up my memories and joy both in the camp and on my way home. I acted very strange, unsociable, awkwardly and fed up. It was impossible to cheer me up and many gave up on trying. Anyhow, I do not know which experience prevails from this trip, but undoubtedly, this fucking fraud will be associated with my journey for a long time. Hopefully, one day as a rich guy I will only smile at my anguish for losing 800€, considering them to be peanuts 
