Helsinki (journey)

Now we are about to take a bus to our summer work camp. I can proudly say that our journey is coming to the end. We have been doing pretty well so far. Now I am really looking forward to having warm meals and normal food. I am tired of eating the cheapest shit I can buy.

Damn it! Lila went to buy the bus tickets and she has been told that they do not accept our ISIC cards and we have to buy full price tickets. I was very upset and angry about that, so I decided to change our itinerary in order to use the train tickets as much as possible. I really begrudged paying another 15€ more, especially after saving on every stupid souvenir I wanted to buy, but I did not. I found an alternative way, but Lila refused to go, because she was worn out. We started fighting and when we finished, we had no time to go for my new plan – the train had already pulled out. “Whatever”, I said and fumbled upon my late lunch. My last hope was to play the innocent and simply ask for the student tickets. As we were taking out our ISIC cards, a guy behind us mumbled that they do not accept them. I had nothing to lose – I just asked for the student tickets and I got them. Lol, was like in the Bible: you will get what you ask for  We were very elated by our big luck; all bad feelings were away and we could enjoy our last trip to the final destination. By chance we ran into our camp leader, so we chatted almost the whole bus trip.
